OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REAPPROPRIATING 1983 FUNDS
WHEREAS, as of December 31, 1981, there exists a Charter provision
(Article V, Section 10) whereby all appropriations unexpended or unencum-
bered at the end of the budget year lapse to the applicable General or
special fund, with the exception of appropriations for capital projects and
federal or state grants which do not lapse until the completion of the
capital project or the expiration of the particular grant; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1984
from prior year reserves in the Revenue Sharing Fund the sum of ONE HUNDRED
SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN DOLLARS ($176,347) to be
transferred to the General Fund.
Section .2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1984
from prior year reserves in the Revenue Sharing Fund the sum of TEN THOU-
SAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($10,775) to be transferred to the
Capital Projects Fund.
Section 3. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1984
in the General Fund the sum of FIFTY-THREE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-
NINE DOLLARS ($53,759) for the Energy Program.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of July, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of July A.D. 1984.
