OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the 1984 Budget for the Forestry Division of the General Fund
was incorrectly calculated during the budget process , to the extent that it
is $9,887 underfunded for 1984 needs; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to operate and maintain Com-
munity Parks at a proper level in 1984; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to provide the necessary funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves in the
General Fund the sum of NINE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY-SEVEN DOLLARS
($9,887) for expenditure by the Forestry Division in the General Fund.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of July, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of July, A.D. 1984.
