OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITTUF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
GENERAL FUND AND UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9, 1984, authorized the use of 1984 Street
Rehabilitation appropriations as an interim funding source for the Old City
Hall Renovation; and
WHEREAS, Council has committed to repaying the Street Rehabilitation
Program from excess Sales & Use Tax Receipts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves
in the General Fund the sum of FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED
FIFTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($451,954) for transfer to the Capital Projects Fund.
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated
revenue in the Capital Projects Fund the sum of FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE
THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR DOLLARS ($451,954) for the Street Rehabil-
itation Program.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of July, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of July, A.D.J199J8-4.
