ORDINANCE NO. 9, 1984
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATIONS
BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 of the City Charter authorizes City
Council to transfer appropriated amounts from one project to another
project; and
WHEREAS, the City recognizes major problems in Old City Hall and
wishes to continue the renovation without further delay; and
WHEREAS, funds from the 1983 Excess Sales and Use Tax Receipts will
not be available until the completion of the 1983 Financial Report, in
March, 1984; and
WHEREAS, the Street Rehabilitation Program project does not require
the expenditure of appropriated funds in the early part of the year; and
WHEREAS, Council will repay the Street Rehabilitation Program project
from the 1983 Excess Sales and Use Tax Receipts when they are available, by
April , 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the following transfer be authorized:
FROM: Street Rehabilitation Program $451,954
TO: Old City Hall Renovation $451,954
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of January, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of January, A.D. 1984.
