ORDINANCE NO. 4 , 1984
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI776F FORT COLLINS
VACATING A PORTION OF TRACT "C" OF
CEDAR VILLAGE SIXTH FILING
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has been petitioned
to vacate a portion of Tract "C" of Cedar Village Sixth Filing, set forth
in more particular below; and
WHEREAS, Silverplume Estates created an excess area in Tract "C"
of Cedar Village Sixth Filing; and
WHEREAS, the platting of Silverplume Estates has created two lots on
this excess area; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board approved Silverplume Estates on
June 29, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the excess area is not needed for storm water detention or
utilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that that portion of Tract "C" of Cedar Village Sixth Filing, set
out more particularly as follows, to wit:
A tract of land located in the NW 1/4 of Section 27, WN, R69W,
of the 6th P.M. of Larimer County, Colorado, being more particu-
larly described as follows:
Considering the south line of the NW 1/4 of said Section 27 as
bearing N 89°33' 18" W and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto: Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of said
Section 27; thence along the said south line, S 89°33' 18" E
1320.15 feet to the centerwest 1/16 corner of said Section 27,
said point being the southwest corner of Cedar Village, Sixth
Filing, a subdivision on file with the Larimer County Clerk and
Recorder in Book 2038, Page 935; thence along the west line of
said Cedar Village, Sixth Filing, said line also being the west
line of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 27, N 00°00'29"
W 1305.57 feet to the northwest corner of said Cedar Village,
Sixth Filing; thence, along the north line of said Cedar Village,
Sixth Filing, S 89040'00" E, 355 .78 feet to the northwest
corner of Tract "C", Cedar Village, Sixth Filing said point also
being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
Thence along the said north line of Cedar Village, Sixth Filing,
S 89°40'00" E, 126.00 feet; thence S 00°20'00" W, 142.66 feet;
thence 63.58 feet on the arc of a curve to the left with a
central angle of 4°08'38", radius of 880.00 feet, and whose long
chord bears N 82°00'16" W, 63.57 feet; thence 63.13 feet on the
arc of a curve to the left with a central angle of 4'06'38",
radius of 880.00 feet, and whose long chord bears N 86°07'47" W,
63.12 feet; thence N 00°20'00" E, 130.29 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING.
The above described tract contains 0.391 acre, more or less.
be, and the same hereby is, vacated, abated and abolished.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of January, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 17th day of January, A.D 1984.
