OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY-0'F FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES AND UNANTICIPATED
REVENUE IN THE STORM DRAINAGE FUND AND AUTHORIZING
THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS FROM THE SEWER
FUND AND GENERAL FUND TO THE STORM DRAINAGE FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available, to appropriate revenue at any time
during the year in which such revenue is received, and to transfer unex-
pended, appropriated amounts from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to perform an aerial survey and mapping of
the Cache La Poudre River for use in floodplain management; and
WHEREAS, the City has received unanticipated revenue from Larimer
County totalling Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000); and
WHEREAS, funds are also available from the Sewer Fund, the General
Fund, and from Storm Drainage Fund prior year reserves for the Aerial
Survey and Mapping of the Cache La Poudre River Floodplain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated
revenue from Larimer County for expenditure in 1984 in the Storm Drainage
Fund, the total sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) for the Aerial
Survey and Mapping of the Cache La Poudre River Floodplain.
Section 2. That the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000) is hereby
appropriated for transfer from the Sewer Fund to the Storm Drainage Fund
and appropriated for expenditure in the Storm Drainage Fund for the
Aerial Survey and Mapping of the Cache La Poudre River Floodplain.
Section 3. That the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) is
hereby appropriated for transfer from existing encumbrances in the General
Fund to the Storm Drainage Fund and appropriated for expenditure in the
Storm Drainage Fund for the Aerial Survey and Mapping of the Cache La
Poudre River Floodplain.
Section 4. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
prior year reserves in the Storm Drainage Fund the total sum of Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($30,000) for the Aerial Survey and Mapping of the Cache
La Poudre River Floodplain.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 20th day of March, A.D. , 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 3rd day of April , A.D. , 1984.
