OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR
RESERVES IN THE PARKLAND FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to contribute $10,000 to construct a play-
ground in Moore Park for handicapped children; and
WHEREAS, the City also wishes to spend $10,000 to replace unsafe play
equipment in Leisure Park; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover these expenses are available from prior year
reserves in the Parkland Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Parkland Fund the total sum of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
($20,000) for the construction of a playground in Moore Park for handi-
capped children and for the replacement of unsafe play equipment in Leisure
Park.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 17th day of July , A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 7th day of Aug., A.D. 1984.
