OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR
RESERVES IN THE PARKING FUND FOR TRANSFER
TO THE GENERAL AND CAPITAL PROJECTS FUNDS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8 of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate prior year reserves at any time
such reserves are available; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Fund owes the General Fund an annual loan payment
for land acquisition costs for the Jefferson Street Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Fund is paying the development costs of the
Jefferson Street Parking Lot Capital Project; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover these expenses are available from prior year
reserves in the Parking Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
-COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves in the
Parking Fund the total sum of EIGHTY-TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE
DOLLARS ($82,959) as follows:
$30,406 Transfer to the General Fund for loan payment
52,553 Transfer to and Appropriation in the Capital
Projects Fund for construction costs
$82,959 Total
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 7th day of June, A.D. 1983, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of June, A 983.
