OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
REAPPROPRIATING 1982 FUNDS
WHEREAS, as of December 31 , 1981 , there exists a Charter provision
(Article V, Section 10) whereby all appropriations unexpended or unencum-
bered at the end of the budget year lapse to the applicable general or
special fund, with the exception of appropriations for capital projects and
federal or state grants which do not lapse until the completion of the
capital project or the expiration of the particular grant; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8, Article V, of the Charter of the City
of Fort Collins, the City is authorized to make expenditures of funds from
reserves accumulated in prior years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1983
from accumulated reserves in the General Fund the total sum of ONE HUNDRED
FORTY-NINE .THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FIFTY THREE DOLLARS ($149,353) .
Section 2. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1983
from accumulated reserves in the Revenue Sharing Fund the total sum of TWO
HUNDRED NINETY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY-SIX DOLLARS ($290,746) .
Section 3. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1983
in the General Fund for transfer to the Cultural Services and Facilities
Fund the total sum of THREE HUNDRED THREE DOLLARS ($303) .
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 7th day of June A.D. 1983, and to be presented for final
passage on the 21st day of June A.D. 3.
