OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ADOPTING THE 1983 PAY PLAN FOR CITY EMPLOYEES
AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT Or AN ADDITIONAL SUM
CALCULATED FROM BASE PAY RETROACTIVE TO JANUARY 3, 1983
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1983, the City Council directed City Staff to
prepare, for Council ' s review, an upper third pay plan including in said
plan an additional sum calculated from base pay, retroactive to January 3,
1983; and
WHEREAS, City Council has reviewed said pay plan and wishes to adopt
the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That effective for the pay period beginning May 9, 1983,
the pay plan for fiscal year 1983 for all employees of the City of Fort
Collins shall be as shown on the attached pay plan document.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby authorizes the payment of an
additional sum of money to all persons classified as permanent City em-
ployees as of May 9, 1983 and also all employees who have retired since
January 3, 1983, said sum to be calculated from base pay, retroactive to
January 3, 1983. For the purposes of this ordinance base pay refers to
compensation paid to employees exclusive of overtime, standby or other pay
differentials.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 3rd day of May A.D. , 1983, and to be presented for
final passage on the 17th day of ay�_, A.D. 1983.
