BEING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 69-4 (B)
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
PERTAINING TO THE COMPOSITION OF THE LANDMARK
PRESERVATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Section 69-4 (B) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins
provides for the composition of the Landmark Preservation Commission, but
does not provide for the appointment of an alternate member to said commis-
sion, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City that an alternate
member be appointed to said commission
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDIAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 69-4 (B) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be,
and it hereby is, amended to read as follows
"Section 69-4
B Composition The Commission shall consist of five (5)
regular members and one ( 1) alternate member In
making initial appointments, one regular member and
the alternate member shall be appointed for two (2)
year terms, two more members shall be appointed for
three (3) year terms, and the remaining two members
shall be appointed for four (4) year terms There-
after, appointments of regular members shall be for
four (4) year terms and appointments of the alternate
member shall be for a two (2) year term
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading and ordered pub-
lished this 17th day of February 1981,1981, and to be presented for final
passage on the 3rd day of—March
