OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 148, 1982,
ASSESSING THE COSTS OF IMPROVEMENTS
IN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #74 AND
PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT AND COLLECTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, on December 7, 1982, the City Council adopted on second
reading Ordinance No. 148, 1982, assessing the costs of improvements in
Street Improvement District #74; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the adoption of said Ordinance No. 148, 1982, a
concerned citizen brought to the attention of City staff an inconsistency
in the figures contained within the assessment roll ; and
WHEREAS, upon investigation it was learned that said inconsistency, if
not corrected, would result in overpayment by two property owners within
the district; and
WHEREAS, City Council wishes to correct this inconsistency in order
that all property owners within the district be assessed their equitable
share.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS THAT the assessment roll of Street Improvement District #74 as
contained within Ordinance No. 148, 1982, be, and the same hereby is,
amended to reflect changes in the assessment rates and total assessments as
follows:
