ORDINANCE N0. 42 , 1983
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED
. REVENUE AND PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE AIRPORT FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15 of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins permits the Council to appropriate revenue at any time during
the year in which such revenue is received, and to appropriate reserves
accumulated in prior years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland have received an FAA
grant for the Fort Collins-Loveland Airport apron expansion project and
connecting taxiway totalling $234,000; and
WHEREAS, prior year reserves are available in the Airport Fund to
provide the Cities' match of $26,000 for the FAA grant; and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Fort Collins and Loveland wish to proceed with
the apron expansion project and connecting taxiway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1983 from
prior year reserves and unanticipated revenue in the Airport Fund the total
sum of TWO HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($260,000) for the apron expan-
sion and connecting taxiway project.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of April , A.D. 1983, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of April , A.D. 1983.
