OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING A PORTION OF COOPER PLACE AND A
DEDICATED PEDESTRIAN CROSSWALK
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to vacate a portion
of Cooper Place and the dedicated pedestrian crosswalk located thereon, as
more particularly set out below; and
WHEREAS, the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will
in no way be prejudiced or injured by said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that that portion of Cooper Place and the dedicated pedestrian
crosswalk located thereon:
A part of Cooper Place and the pedestrian crosswalk situate in
the Sonoran View Estates, Fort Collins, Colorado, which begins at
a point on the Easterly line of Lot 6, Sonoran V.iew Estates,
which bears S 29053'37" W 57.91 feet from the Northeast corner
of said Lot 6 and run thence N 89037' E 53.99 feet to a point on
the Westerly line of Lot 11 , Sonoran View Estates; thence along
said Westerly line, along the arc of a 75.00 foot radius curve to
the left a distance of 37 .90 feet, the long chord of which
bears S 14°05'40" W 37 .50 feet and again S 00°23' E 445.97 feet
to the Southwest corner of said Lot 11; thence N 89°35' W 15.00
feet to the southeast corner of Lot 19, Sonoran View Estates;
thence along the Easterly line of said Lot 19, N 00023' W 247.96
feet and again along the arc of a 15.00 foot radius curve to the
left a distance of 27 .35 feet, the long chord of which bears N
52037'20" W 23.72 feet and again along the arc of a 45.00 foot
radius curve to the right a distance of 137.45 feet, the long
chord of which bears N 17'21 '30" W 89.91 feet and again along the
arc of a 15.00 foot radius curve to the left a distance of 18.46
feet, the long chord of which bears N 34°52'50" E 17.32 feet to
the Southeast corner of said Lot 6; thence along the Easterly
line of said Lot 6, N 00023' W 83.14 feet and again along the
arc of a 125.00 foot radius curve to the right a distance of
36.83 feet, the long chord of which bears N 08°03'30" E 36.70
feet to the point of beginning containing 17 ,773 square feet more
or less.
be, and the same hereby is, vacated, abated and abolished.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of April , A.D. 1983, and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of April , A.D. 1983.
