OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CHAPTER 112 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS BY THE ADDITION OF ARTICLE VI
PERTAINING TO THE DUAL SUPPLY OF WATER AND
SANITARY SEWER SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that Chapter
112 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins be amended by the addition of
Article VI thereto, which Article shall provide as follows:
ARTICLE VI
DUAL SUPPLY OF WATER AND SANITARY SEWER SERVICE
§112-127 Conditions of Service
In the event that a property located within the corporate limits of
the City is in an area not supplied by the City with both water and
sanitary sewer service, and is capable of receiving both water and
sanitary sewer service from utility servicing districts duly estab-
lished as quasi-municipal organizations pursuant to Colorado law,
then , the City shall not extend or provide such service to such
property, provided, however, . that the City may extend either or both
services to such property if such district or districts are .or become
incapable of providing a reasonable level of service to such property.
Upon the review of the Water Board and the City Administration, the
City Council may waive any part, or all of this section.
