OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED
REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS , the City has developed a Pension Payment and Reporting
System for withholding Federal tax on pension payments in compliance with
the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982; and
WHEREAS , development and implementation of the Pension Payment and
Reporting System was performed by City MIS staff at a cost of $5 ,480; and
WHEREAS , funds are available in the General Employees, Police ,
and Fire Pension Funds for transfer to the General Fund MIS Department for
payment of the System development and implementation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1983 from
unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the sum of Five Thousand Four
Hundred Eighty Dollars ($5,480) for reimbursement to the MIS Department for
the development and implementation of the Pension Payment and Reporting
System.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 5th day of April , A.D. 1983 , and to be presented for final
passage on the 19th day of April , A.D. 1983 .
