BEING AN ORDINANCE G707NG ALTERNATE
MEMBERS SERVING ON ANY CITY BOARD OR
COMMISSION A LIMITED VOTING PRIVILEGE
WHEREAS, the City Council from time to time appoints alternate members
to serve on City boards and commissions in order to establish a trained
source of individuals for permanent appointment to said boards or commis-
sions when vacancies occur, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to grant alternate members serving
on City boards and commissions a limited voting privilege
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that alternate members serving on City boards and commissions be,
and they hereby are, authorized to vote when serving in the absence of a
regular member
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
