OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED
REVENUE Itt THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V , Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any
time during the year in which such revenue is received, and
WHEREAS, the City has received an Urban Mass Transportation Admin-
istration Grant totalling $3,630,960 for the replacement of four Mercedes
buses and the construction of a bus maintenance facility, and
WHEREAS, the City is required to provide 20% of the project budget
($907,740) in matching funds as a condition of receiving the giant, and
WHEREAS, the CTty' s matching share has been included in the Proposed
1982 and 1983 Budget for the Transfort Fund to be transferred to the
Capital Projects Fund
NOW, THEREFORF, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unantici-
pated revenue in the Capital Projects Fund the total sum of FOUR MILLION
FIVE HUNDPED THIRTY EIG"T TPOUSAND SEVEN HJNDRED DOLLARS ($4,538,700) for
the purpose of replacing four tletLedes buses and the construction of a bus
maintenance facility
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 4th day of August--, 1981, and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of August 1
