AMENDING CHAPTER 93 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO STORM DRAINAGE
FEES
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is necessary to establish and collect a storm drainage utility fee for
the purpose of operating, maintaining, and administering the City' s storm
drainage system and for the purpose of designing, acquiring right-of-way,
and constructing storm drainage capital improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Council has further determined to amend the City' s storm
drainage utility fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS AS follows:
SECTION 1 . That Section 93-18 C. of the Code of the City of Fort
Collins be, and the same hereby is, repealed and reenacted to provide as
follows:
"C. The base rate for the storm drainage utility fee shall be
as follows:
(1) The operations and maintenance base rate (O&M base rate)
shall be $0.000339 per square foot per month for all areas
of the city.
(2) The capital improvements base rate (capital base rate) shall
be as follows:

SECTION 2. The utility fee base rates recited herein shall become
effective on all billings rendered on or after January 1, 1984, relating to
services provided during the month of December, 1983, and thereafter.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 4th day of October, A.D. , 1983, and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of October, A.D. , 1983.
