OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CTT1rOF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE REVENUE SHARING FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year, and
WHEREAS, the Revenue Sharing Fund was established for the collection
of revenue sharing monies and the disbursement of such monies as approved
by Council , and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in energy conservation and cost
savings to the City and wishes to continue implementation of the methane
fuel conversion program for City vehicles, and
WHEREAS, there are prior year reserves available in the Revenue
Sharing Fund for this purpose
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure in 1981 from
prior year reserves in the Revenue Sharing Fund, the total sum of SIXTY-
FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS ($65,890 00) for the purpose of
the methane fuel conversion project
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 15th day of September, 1981, and to be presented for final
passage on the 6th day of October , 198
