OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT FOR AN INDEPENDENT ANNUAL AUDIT
WHEREAS, Section 17 of the Article II of the City Charter states in
part that, "The Council shall provide for an independent audit at least
annually by a certified public accountant of all books and accounts of the
City ", and
WHEREAS, heretofore, the City did solicit proposals for an independent
annual audit, and
WHEREAS, in the considered opinion of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins, the proposal of the firm listed below best meets the needs and
requirements of the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows
Section 1 That the City �dandger be., and lle hereby is, authorized to
enter into an agreement with ri KAon, un an for the performance of an
independent annual audit for the City o 'Fort Collins, the teems of said
agreement to include the firm's performance of the 1981 annual audit for
the City, with an option for renewing the agreement for two additional
terms according to the following schedule
1982 Audit No later than 7/l/82
1983 Audit No later than 7/1/83
Section 2 That for the performance of the 1981 audit, the firm shall
be paid a sum not to exceed Thirty-Six Thousand Dollars ($ 36,COO )
