OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
HARMONY ANNEXATION NO. 7
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, Resolution 89-117, stating the intent of the City of Fort
Collins to annex certain property and initiating annexation proceedings,
has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has found and
determined and does hereby find and determine that it is in the best
interests of the City to annex said area to the City, as required by the
terms of the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and Larimer
County, Colorado, dated September 7, 1988.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS as follows:
Section 1. That the following described property, to wit:
A tract of land situate in the Southeast Quarter of Section 31,
Township 7 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County,
Colorado, which considering the South line of said Southeast
quarter as bearing S 89042'27" E and with all bearings contained
herein relative thereto, is contained within the boundary lines
which begin at the South quarter corner of said Section 31 and
run thence S 89°42'27" E 1404.99 feet; thence N 00"03'54" E 98.41
feet to the true point of beginning; thence N 83°05'23" W 82.43
feet; thence N 00000'43" E 1702.45 feet; thence S 89°56'06" E
110.54 feet; thence S 00003'54" W 1262.25 feet; thence along the
arc of a 3744.83 foot radius curve to the right a distance of
451.11 feet, the long chord of which bears S 03.30'49" W 450.84
feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 4.2114 acres.
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the Harmony Annexation No. 7.
Section 2. That, in annexing said property to the City, the City does
not assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains, sewer
lines, gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or
utilities in connection with the property hereby annexed except as may be
provided by the ordinances of the City.
Section 3. That the City hereby consents, pursuant to Section
37-45-136(3.6), C.R.S. , to the inclusion of said property into the
Municipal Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 1st day of August, A.D. 1989, and to be presented for final
passage on the 15th day of August, A.D. 1989.
