HomeMy WebLinkAbout117 - 08/15/1989 - AMENDING THE CITY CODE RELATING TO SUBMITTAL DATES UNDER THE LAND DEVELOPMENT GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND SU ORDINANCE NO. 117, 1989 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS RELATING TO SUBMITTAL DATES UNDER THE LAND DEVELOPMENT GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That Section 29-526(I)(F) (3) (a) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended as follows: (a) Upon completion of the conceptual review meeting and after the recommendation of the Planning Director has been made, an application for preliminary plan review may be filed with the Planning Department. If the project is to be developed over time in two or more separate preliminary plan submittals, a master plan shall also be required. Materials pertaining to the preliminary plan shall be submitted to the Planning Department by the first Monday of the month immediately preceding the month of the Planning and Zoning Board meeting. (For example: submittals for the February meeting shall be made by the first Monday in January.) After the Planning Director has reviewed the application and is satisfied that sufficient information has been submitted to permit the Planning and Zoning Board to reach a decision as to whether or not the applicable criteria of this section are met by the proposal , the matter will be placed on the agenda for the appropriate meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board. Section 2. That Section 29-526(I) (F)(4)(a) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended as follows: (a) Application for a final plan may be made only after approval by the Planning and Zoning Board of a preliminary plan, except, however, for good cause shown, the Planning Director may determine if application for final plan may be made concurrently with the preliminary plan. Materials pertaining to the final plan shall be submitted to the Planning Department by the first Monday of the month immediately preceding the month of the Planning and Zoning Board meeting. (For example: submittals for the February meeting shall be made by the first Monday in January.) After the Planning Director has reviewed the application and is satisfied that sufficient information has been submitted to permit the Planning and Zoning Board to reach a decision as to whether or not the applicable criteria of this section are met by the proposal , the matter will be placed on the agenda for the appropriate meeting of the Planning and Zoning Board. Section 3. That Section 29-642(b)(3) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: (3) Filings of preliminary subdivision plats shall be submitted to the Department of Planning on or before the first Monday of each month. The Director of Planning shall place the item on the agenda for the following month's Planning and Zoning Board meeting. At such meeting, the board shall review the preliminary plat and take final action, either approving, approving with conditions, disapproving or tabling for future consideration. Section 4. That Section 29-643(c) of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as follows: (c) Filings of final subdivision plats shall be submitted to the Department of Planning on or before the first Monday of each month. The Director of Planning shall place the item on the agenda for the following month's Planning and Zoning Board meeting. At such meeting, the board shall review the final plat and take final action, either approving, approving with conditions, disapproving or tabling for future consideration.
