OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES FOR A TERM OF
THREE (3) YEARS WITH POUDRE VALLEY HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, pursuant to Article V, Section 31 of the Charter of the City
of Fort Collins, no contract for services shall be for a period longer than
two (2) years unless authorized by ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the contract between the City and Poudre Valley Hospital for
medical services for employees injured on the job contains a term of three
(3) years; and
WHEREAS, the Self-Insurance Fund includes amounts budgeted and
appropriated for payment of these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the Purchasing Agent be, and he hereby is, authorized to enter
into a contract with Poudre Valley Hospital for certain medical and related
services for a term of three (3) years.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 7th day of November, A.D. 1989, and to be presented for
final passage on the 21st day of November, A.D. 1989.
