OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING PROPERTY KNOWN AS THE
HARMONY FARM ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
WHEREAS, Resolution 94-105, finding substantial compliance and initiating
annexation proceedings, has heretofore been adopted by the Council of the City
of Fort Collins; and
WHEREAS, the Council does hereby find and determine that it is in the best
interests of the City to annex said area to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
as follows:
Section 1. That the following described property, to wit:
A tract of land situate in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4, Township
6 North, Range 68 West of the Sixth P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado,
which considering the North line of said Northwest 1/4 as bearing S
89°39'48" E and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto,
is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point on the
Southerly right-of-way line of Colorado State Highway No. 68 which
is also the Southerly line of the Harmony Annexation No. 3 to the
City of Fort Collins, Colorado which bears S 01'40'48" E 111.90 feet
along the West line of said Northwest 1/4 from the Northwest Corner
of said Section 4, and run thence along the Southerly line of the
said Annexation and Highway No. 68, N 83°50' 12" E 26. 10 feet, and
again N 41'22'12" E 73.20 feet, and again N 87°25'57" E 500.70 feet,
and again S 89°39'48" E 613.00 feet, and again S 89°50'03" E 1000.00
feet, and again S 89°39'48" E 350.00 feet; thence along the
Southerly line of the Harmony Annexation No. 4 to the City of Fort
Collins, Colorado and the said Highway No. 68, S 89°39'48" E 86.40
feet, and again S 89°45'48" E 25.25 feet to a point on the East line
of said Northwest 1/4; thence S 01'43'48" E 701 . 18 feet along the
West line of the Ricketts First and Second Annexation to the City of
Fort Collins, Colorado and the East line of the said Northwest 1/4;
thence S 01'43'48" E 1881 .64 feet along the East line of the said
Northwest 1/4 to the Center 1/4 Corner of said Section 4; thence N
88047'48" W 2655.72 feet along the South line of the said Northwest
1/4 to the West 1/4 Corner of said Section 4; thence N 01°40'48" W
197.69 feet along the West line of the said Northwest 1/4 to the
Southeast corner of the South Harmony Annexation to the City of Fort
Collins-, Colorado; thence N- 01040'48" W- 2258.24- feet` along} the- East
-
line of said South Harmony Annexation and the West line of said
Northwest 1/4 to the point of beginning, containing 155.5975 acres,
more or less,
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of said
City, to be known as the Harmony Farm Annexation.
Section 2. That, in annexing said property to the City, the City does not
assume any obligation respecting the construction of water mains, sewer lines,
gas mains, electric service lines, streets or any other services or utilities in
connection with the property hereby annexed except as may be provided by the
ordinances of the City.
Section 3. That the City hereby consents, pursuant to Section
37-45-136(3.6) , C.R.S. , to the inclusion of said property into the Municipal
Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published
this 21st day of June, A.D. 1994, and to be present or final pa a on the
5th day of July, A.D. 1994.
