OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE
PARKLAND FUND FROM THE SALE OF REAL
PROPERTY AT 309 SOUTH SHERWOOD
WHEREAS, on April 17, 1985, Grace Quinby, a Fort Collins resident, donated
to the City her residence and lot situated at 309 South Sherwood (the
"Property") ; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 150, 1994, the City Council authorized the sale
of the- Property for $56,150, having first found that the- s�le- was in the- best
interests of the City; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 150, 1994, also provided that the proceeds of the
sale of the Property, less costs incurred by the City in selling the Property up
to a maximum of $1, 150, be paid over to the law firm of March and Myatt, as
Trustee for the estate of Grace Quinby; and
WHEREAS, the sale of the Property closed on November 14, 1995 and an
appropriation of the proceeds is needed in order to disburse the funds; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins
(the "Charter") authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenues
which are the result of new revenue sources at any time during the year in which
such revenue is received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in
the Parkland Fund, the sum of FIFTY-SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS
($56,150) to be used for the following purposes: 1) $55,000 is to be paid to
the law firm of March and Myatt, as Trustee for the estate of Grace Quinby, 2)
$1,150 will remain in the Parkland Fund to be used to cover costs associated with
the sale of the Property.

20th day of December, A.D. 1994.
