OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI`T OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN
THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FUND
TO PARTICIPATE IN A FEASIBILITY STUDY
ON CONVERTING THE OLD POWER PLANT INTO A
VISUAL ARTS CENTER
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority (DOA) will be issuing
bonds in the approximate amount of $8 million; and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes the ODA, together with the City and the
Poudre River Trust, to proceed with said feasibility study in a timely
manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unantici-
pated revenue in the Downtown Development Authority Fund the sum of SIX
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($6,000) for the preparation of a feasibility study and
begin design work to convert the Old Power Plant into a Visual Arts
Center.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 2nd day of October, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the day of October , A.D. 1984.
