OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI777F FORT COLLINS,
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND
FOR TRANSFER TO THE CONSERVATION TRUST FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, $70,000 was borrowed from the Conservation Trust Fund for two
flood control projects; and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to repay the loan plus interest; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in General Fund prior year reserves.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the General Fund the sum of SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($73,500) for transfer to the Conservation Trust Fund.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 2nd day of October, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 16th day of October, A.D. 1984.
