OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
COMMUNICATIONS FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Council of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior
years at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the City will be using office space in Block 31 during and
after the remodeling of the Old Municipal Building; and
WHEREAS, it is cost efficient to install permanent telephone and data
line service between City Hall and Block 31 at this time; and
WHEREAS, existing appropriations in the Communications Fund were used
to finance the project; and
WHEREAS, reserves will need to be utilized for capital purchases in
the original 1984 Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the Communications Fund the sum of TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($28,000) for capital expenditures.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 18th day of September, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 2nd day of October, A.D. 1984.
