ORDINANCE NO. 188 , 1984
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM UNANTICIPATED REVENUE
TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND FOR BLOCK 31 PROJECT
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15 , of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate revenue at any time during the
year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS , Resolution No. 174, 1984 authorized the City to enter into an
Intergovernmental Agreement with the County for the purpose of joint
acquisition, master plan development, management operation and maintenance
of improvements for Block 31; and
WHEREAS, such agreement authorizes a $1.2 million dollar contribution
from each party; and
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to fulfill this agreement;
and
WHEREAS, a short-term loan from the Water Fund to the Capital Projects
Fund for the Block 31 Project has been authorized to fulfill the City' s
responsibility initially; and
WHEREAS , on or before January 15 , 1985 , the County will deposit
with the City its contribution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that from funds received through a short-term loan from the Water
Fund the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1 ,200,000)
to the Capital Projects Fund and the County contribution of $1. 2 mil-
lion there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the Cap-
ital Projects Fund the sum of Two Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2 ,400,000) for the Block 31 Project.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 4th day of December, A.D. 1984 , and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of December, A.D. 1984.
