ORDINANCE NO. 196 , 1984
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS,
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN
THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FUND
FOR PEDESTRIAN WAY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins permits the Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue received
at any time during the year; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has issued bonds in the
approximate amount of $8.2 million; and
WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has developed Guidelines
to be used in the renovation and upgrading of pedestrian ways within the
District; and
WHEREAS, the Authority wishes to assist in said pedestrian way im-
provements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unantici-
pated revenue in the Downtown Development Authority Fund the sum of FIFTY-
EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($58,500) for use in the the renovation
and upgrading of predestrian ways within the Downtown Development Authority
District.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 18th day of December, A.D. 1984, and to be presented for final
passage on the 15th day of January, A.D. 1985.
