OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY-6F FORT COLLINS
VACATING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF ROCKY ROAD
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has been
petitioned to vacate the right-of-way of Rocky Road, set forth in more
particular below; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is requesting said vacation for that portion
of Rocky Road which extends into property the City wishes to purchase for a
neighborhood park ; and
WHEREAS, the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will
in no way be prejudiced or injured by said vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that that certain right-of-way located on the extension of Rocky
Road, set out more particularly as follows, to wit:
A sixty foot wide strip of land situate in the NW 1/4 of Section
16, Township 7 North Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M., City of
Fort Collins, County of Larimer, State of Colorado, which ,
considering the North line of said Section 16 as bearing N 89°35'
W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, is
contained within the boundary lines which begin at a point which
bears N 89°35'30" W 2910.00 feet from the Northeast corner of
said Section 16 and run thence N 89035'30" W 60.00 feet; thence S
00°25' E 316 .07 feet; thence along the arc of a 315 .00 foot
radius curve to the left a distance of 154.12 feet the long chord
of which bears S 14*26' E 152 .59 feet; thence S 28027' E 147 .68
feet; thence along the arc of a 25.00 foot radius curve to the
right a distance of 51 .86 feet the long chord of which bears S
30058'45" W 43.05 feet; thence N 890 35'30" W 278.94 feet; thence
S 00025' E 660.00 feet; thence N 89035'30" W 135.00 feet; thence
S 00025' E 30.00 feet; thence S 89°35'30" E 195.00 feet; thence
N 00°25' W 630.00 feet; thence S 89035'30" E 270.00 feet; thence
N 89*35' E 60.00 feet; thence along the arc of a 235.09 foot
radius curve to the left a distance of 115.02 feet the long chord
of which bears N 14025' W 113 .88 feet; thence N 28°27' W 164.89
feet; thence along the arc of a 255.00 foot radius curve to the
right a distance of 124.76 feet the long chord of which bears N
14026' W 123.52 feet; thence N 00025' W 315.21 feet to the point
of beginning.
