OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 4.16(B)(2)(c) OF THE LAND USE CODE
WH AS,on March 18, 1997,by Ordinance No.051, 1997,the Council of the Cityof Fort
Collins adopte the Fort Collins Land Use Code (the "Land Use Code"); and
WHEREA the Council has received a request for a proposed amendment to Section
4.16(B)(2)(c) from J M Automotive for the addition of uses known as "Vehicle Minor Repair",
"Vehicle Major Repair d"Vehicle Sales and Leasing"upon condition that any such uses abut to
North College Avenue an e at least 300 feet away from the top of the bank of the Cache la Poudre
River; and
WHEREAS, the staff o e City and the Planning and Zoning Board have reviewed the
proposed amendment and have rec ended that the Land Use Code not be amended in accordance
with the request from J &M Autom 've; and
WHEREAS,notwithstanding the commendation of the staff and the Planning and Zoning
Board,the Council has determined that the p osed amendments are in the best interests of the City
and its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINE Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 4.16(B)(2)(c)of the Land U Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
(c) Commercial/Retail Uses.
