OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER
OF APPROPRIATIONS BETWEEN CAPITAL PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Article V, Sections 8 and 15, of the Charter of the City of
Fort Collins authorize City Council to appropriate prior year reserves at
any time such reserves are available and to transfer unexpended, appropri-
ated amounts from one project to another project; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to begin immediately the design work for the
Indoor Pool /Ice Rink capital project ; and
WHEREAS, funds are available from prior year reserves and the appro-
priated capital reserve in the Capital Projects Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Capital Projects Fund reserves will be repaid from the
Indoor Pool/Ice Rink bond proceeds when the bonds are issued.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from
prior year reserves in the Capital Projects Fund the total sum of ONE
HUNDRED TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($110,000) for the design work for the Indoor
Pool/Ice Rink capital project.
Section 2. That the following transfer of existing appropriations is
authorized in the Capital Projects Fund:
FROM: Capital Reserve-Appropriated Contingency $390,000
TO: Indoor Pool/Ice Rink $390,000
for design work for the Indoor Pool/Ice Rink capital project.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 30th day of October , A.D. 1984, and to be presented for
final passage on the 20thday of November , A.D. 1984.
