OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING SECTION 15-327 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS PERTAINING TO SECONDHAND DEALERS
AND FLEA MARKET VENDOR REQUIREMENTS
WHEREAS, Council approved certain amendments to the provisions of the City Code
pertaining to secondhand dealers by the adoption of Ordinance No. 142, 2006 on October 3, 2006;
and
WHEREAS, Section 15-318(f)requires a flea market operator to maintain a record of each
vendor renting a booth in the flea market,including name, address, date of birth,driver's license or
other identifying numbers; and
WHEREAS, Section 15-327 requires vendors to provide the same information to a flea
market operator except for the vendor's date of birth; and
WHEREAS,the omission of the vendor's date of birth from Section 15-327 was inadvertent;
and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Sections 15-318(f) and 15-327 should be consistent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that Section 15-327 of the Code of the City of Fort Collins is hereby amended to read as
follows:

It shall be unlawful for a vendor renting or using a space or booth in a flea
market to fail to provide his or her name, address, date of birth, driver's license
number and other identifying number to a flea market operator who requests such
information pursuant to § 15-318(f) or to provide false identifying information to
such operator.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 5th day of
December, A.D. 2006, and to be presented for final passage on the 19th day of December, A.D.
2006.
