AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS
FROM THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes City Council to transfer unexpended, appropriated
amounts from one fund to another; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to move all personnel out of the Car Barn for
safety reasons and to lease other building space for their purposes; and
WHEREAS, funds to cover these expenses are available in the Car Barn
project in the Capital Projects Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the sum of FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000) is hereby appro-
priated for transfer from the Car Barn project in the Capital Projects Fund
to the General Fund and appropriated in the General Fund for lease pay-
ments, telephone system installation, moving expenses for the Building
Repairs and Maintenance staff and Traffic personnel , and a general up-
grading of the Car Barn.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered pub-
lished this 4th day of September , A.D. 1984, and to be presented for
final passage on the 18th day of September , A.D.
