HomeMy WebLinkAbout078 - 08/06/1985 - APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND (FOR A HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION DA 0 ORDINANCE NO. 78, 1985 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES IN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the Council to appropriate reserves accumulated in prior years at any time during the year; and WHEREAS, the City, Loveland, and Larimer County will be jointly sponsoring a September 28, 1985 Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at a total cost of $25,000; and WHEREAS, the City's share of the associated- costs, based upon population distribution, will be 45% of the total costs, or $11,250; and WHEREAS, the General Fund has prior year reserves available to appropriate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from prior year reserves in the General Fund the sum of ELEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($11,250) for a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day.
