OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
ANNEXING APPROXIMATELY 1 .866 ACRES OF PROPERTY
KNOWN AS THE WEST LAPORTE AVENUE 6TH ANNEXATION
WHEREAS, the property hereinafter described below has been entirely
contained within the boundaries of the City of Fort Collins for more than
three (3) year prior to this date; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fort Collins has determined that
it is in the best interests of the citizens of the City of Fort Collins to
annex said area to the City, as required by the terms of the Inter-
governmental Agreement between the City and Larimer County, Colorado, dated
August 3, 1983; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 86-198 setting forth the intent of the City
Council to annex said area has heretofore been adopted; and
WHEREAS, notice of this annexation has been given pursuant to the
annexation laws of the State of Colorado.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS:
Section 1. That the following described property
A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of Section 9, Township 7
North, Range 69 of the 6th P.M. , Larimer County, Colorado.
Considering the south line of the NE 1/4 of said. Section 9 as
bearing N 89°39'15" W, and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto: commencing at the East 1/4 corner of Section 9
as bearing N 89039'15" W and with all bearings contained herein
relative thereto: commencing at the East 1/4 corner of Section 9;
thence N 89039'15" W 1616.08 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence N 00°02'45" E 30.00 feet; thence S 89°39'15" E 210.53
feet; thence N 00°02'45" E 264.00 feet; thence N 89'39' 15" W
239.45 feet; thence S 00°59' 15" E 114.08 feet; thence N 89°39' 15"
W 100.00 feet; thence S 00°59' 15" E 180.00 feet; thence S
89039' 15" E 128.97 feet to the true point of beginning.
The above described tract contains 1 .866 acres more or less.
be, and hereby is, annexed to the City of Fort Collins and made a part of
said City, to be known as the West LaPorte Avenue 6th Annexation.
Section 2. That in annexing said territory to the City of Fort
Collins, the City of Fort Collins does not assume any obligation respecting
the construction of water mains, sewer lines, gas mains, electric service
lines, streets or any other services or utilities in connection with the
territory hereby annexed except as may be provided by the ordinances of the
City of Fort Collins.
Section 3. That no building permit shall be issued for any of the
lands herein described unless said lands have been zoned under the zoning
ordinances of the City.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
puLlished this 20th day of January, A.D. 1987, and to be presented for
finai passage on the 3rd day of February, A.D. 1987.
