HomeMy WebLinkAbout001 - 01/21/1986 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND ORDINANCE NO. 19 1986 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the Council to appropriate revenue received at any time during the year which was not anticipated at the time of adoption of the annual budget and which is not the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources; and WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a grant totalling $21,000 from the Colorado Division of Highway Safety; and WHEREAS, such funds must, by agreement with the State, be used for the City' s Model City Safety Belt Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue to the General Fund from the Colorado Division of Highway Safety the sum of TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($21,000) for the Model City Safety Belt Project.
