HomeMy WebLinkAbout166 - 10/06/1998 - ZONING THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE LINCOLN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2ND ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 1665 1998 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE LINCOLN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 2ND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO WHEREAS, Division 1.3 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes the Zoning Map and Zone Districts of the City; and WHEREAS, Division 2.8 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes procedures and criteria for reviewing the zoning of land; and WHEREAS,in accordance with the foregoing,the Council has considered the zoning of the property which is the subject of this ordinance,and has determined that the said property should be zoned as hereafter provided. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Fort Collins adopted pursuant to Section 1.3.2 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the Lincoln Junior High School 2nd Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the Urban Estate (UE) Zone District, which property is more particularly described as situate in the County of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit: A tract of land situate in the South 1/2 of Section 3,and in the North 1/2 of Section 10, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M., County of Larimer, State of Colorado,which,considering the South line of the Southeast 1/4 of said Section 3 as bearing N90°00'00"W and with all bearings contained herein relative thereto, is contained within the boundary lines which begin at the South 1/4 Corner of said Section 3,and run thence along the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 3, S89°29'30"W 792.00 feet;thence S89°05'31"E 1449.66 feet to a point on the South right-of-way line of Vine Drive; thence along said South right-of-way line, N90000'00"W 657.45 feet, and again S89029'30"W 1163.50 feet; thence N00003'00"E 688.55 feet; thence S89°30'30"W 415.00 feet to a point on the approximate centerline of the Larimer County Canal No. 2; thence along said centerline, N08055'00"W 100.82 feet, and again N31°42'30"W 201.55 feet and again N 18°13'3 0"W 60.14 feet, and again N04°09'00"W 164.72 feet, and again N 14°32'00"E 170.79 feet; thence N89°31'45"E 375.00 feet; thence N00°03'00"E 658.76 feet; thence N89°3 8'00"E 1124.32 feet; thence S60°00'00"E 218.53 feet; thence S00°03'3 0"W 1204.16 feet; thence S 89°30'3 0"W 137.51 feet to a point on the East right-of-way line of the Easterly part of Lancer Drive;thence along said East right-of-way line,S00°03'30"W 628.12 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of Vine Drive;thence along said North right-of-way line,N89°29'30"E 137.51 feet, and again S90°00'00"E 657.47 feet; thence S87°23'15"W 658.18 feet to the point of beginning,EXCEPT a portion which is described as follows,to-wit;beginning at a point at the Northwest corner of the Easterly part of Lancer Drive and Vine Drive which bears N00°03'30"E 30.00 feet,and again S89°29'30"W 197.51 feet from the South 1/4 corner of said Section 3, and run thence along the North right-of-way line of Vine Drive, S89°29'30"W 885.91 feet to the Northeast Corner of the Westerly part of Lancer Drive and Vine Drive;thence along the East right-of-way line of the Westerly part of Lancer Drive, N00°03'00"E 628.40 feet; thence N89°30'30"E 886.00 feet to a point on the West right-of-way line of the Easterly part of Lancer Drive; thence along said West right-of-way line, S00°03'3011W 628.14 feet to the point of beginning. Said tract less exception contains 48.7065 acres, more or less. Section 2. That the Sign District Map adopted pursuant to Section 3.8.7(E) of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be,and the same hereby is,changed and amended by showing that the above-described property is included in the Residential Neighborhood Sign District. Section 3. That the Director of Engineering is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
