HomeMy WebLinkAbout064 - 05/04/1999 - ZONING KEATING SECOND ANNEXATION ORDINANCE NO. 64, 1999 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE KEATING SECOND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS. COLOR-ADO WHEREAS, Division 1.3 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes the Zoning Map and Zone Districts of the City; and WHEREAS, Division 2.8 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins establishes procedures and criteria for reviewing the zoning of land; and WHEREAS,in accordance with the foregoing, the Council has considered the zoning of the property which is the subject of this ordinance,and has determined that the said property should be zoned as hereafter provided. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the City of Fort Collins adopted pursuant to Section 1.3.2 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the Keating Second Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the Low-Density Mixed Use Neighborhood (LMN) Zone District, which property is more particularly described as situate in the County of Larimer,State of Colorado,to wit: A TRACT OF LAND SITUATE IN THE COUNTY OF LARIMER, STATE OF COLORADO, 'FO-WIT: A PORTION OF LAND LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST OF THE 6TH P.M., LARIMER COUNTY, COLORADO BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: COMMENCING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SECTION 7, TOWSHIP 6 NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST; THENCE NORTH ALONG THE EAST SECTION LINE OF SECTION 7 NORTH 00000'00" WEST 1319.80 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. THENCE NORTH 90000'00" WEST, 2538.16 FEET; THENCE NORTH 67018-28" EAST, 1658.15 FEET; THENCE NORTH 90000'00" EAST, 1007.96 I'EET TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 7; THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 90000'00" EAST 30.00 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF TIMBERLINE ROAD; THENCE SOUTH 00°00'00" WEST, 639.70 FEET ALONG SAID EASTERLY R.O.W. OF TIMBERLINE ROAD; THENCE NORTH 90°00'00" WEST 30.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING. ABOVE DESCRIBED LAND CONTAINING 26.48 ACRES, MORE OR LESS. Section 2. That the Sign District Map adopted pursuant to Section 3.8.7(E) of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by showing that the above-described property is included in the Residential Neighborhood Sign District. Section 3. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend said Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance. Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered published this 20th day of April, A.D. 1999, and to be presented for final passage on the 4th day of May, A.D. 1999.
