ORDINANCE NO. 98 , 1989
OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
BEING AN ORDINANCE TO EXPRESS THE CONSENT OF
THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS TO THE INCLUSION,
PURSUANT TO SECTION 37-45-136(3.6) , C.R.S. OF LANDS
WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL SUBDISTRICT, NORTHERN
COLORADO WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Water Conservancy Act, §37-45-101 et sea. , C.R.S. ,
requires that lands receiving or using water supplied by the Municipal
Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, be located
within the boundaries of said Subdistrict; and
WHEREAS the City of Fort Collins wishes to use water supplied by said
Subdistrict in its municipal water system; and
WHEREAS, certain lands within the City of Fort Collins have not
heretofore been included within the boundaries of said Subdistrict.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS, COLORADO that the City of Fort Collins hereby consents, pursuant
to §37-45-136(3.6), C.R.S. , to the inclusion of the lands annexed to the
City pursuant to Ordinance No. 137, 1987 (known as the Jewett Annexation)
into the Municipal Subdistrict, Northern Colorado Water Conservancy
District. A copy of said annexation ordinance No. 137, 1987 is of record
and available for public inspection at the Office of the City Clerk in Fort
Collins, Colorado.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 20th day of June, A.D. 1989, and to be presented for final
passage on the 18th day of July, A.D. 1989.
