OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE GENERAL
FUND FOR THE LIBRARY OUTREACH PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 96-27 on March 5, 1996, authorizing an
intergovernmental agreement with the County to provide Library services to residents of Larimer
County (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS,Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City
Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which is the result of rate or fee increases
or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and
WHEREAS,pursuant to the intergovernmental agreement the City will receive$28,489 from
Larimer County to provide library outreach services to serve the handicapped, elderly, and other
isolated persons in the County.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated revenue in the
General Fund the sum of TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-NINE
DOLLARS ($28,489.00)for library outreach services in Larimer County,upon receipt of such funds
from Larimer County.
