OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
VACATING A UTILITY EASEMENT ON LOT 6, BLOCK 2,
RIVERSIDE PARK SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS,there is no further need for the utility easement located on the northwest corner
of Lot 6, Block 2, Riverside Park Subdivision, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" and
originally recorded with the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder under Reception Number
2002043613; and
WHEREAS,pertinent City agencies and private utility companies have been contacted and
reported no objection to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the rights of the residents of the City of Fort Collins will not be prejudiced or
injured by the vacation of said utility easement; and
WHEREAS,said vacation is in the best interests of the City and will not impair the viability
of the City electrical utility system as a whole and is for the benefit of the citizens of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that the utility easement,more particularly described on Exhibit"A," attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, is hereby vacated, abated and abolished.
Introduced and considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 19th day of
November, A.D. 2002, and to be presented for final passage on the 17th day of December, A.D.
2002.
