HomeMy WebLinkAbout023 - 03/21/1989 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE FEDERAL AID TO URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FUND (TO PROVIDE TRAF ORDINANCE NO. 23 , 1989 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE IN THE FEDERAL AID TO URBAN SYSTEMS (FAUS) FUND WHEREAS, Article V, Section 15, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins authorizes the City Council to appropriate unanticipated revenue at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, Council passed Resolution 89-1fo- on February 21 , 1989, authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with the State of Colorado for the receipt of Federal Aid to Urban Systems (FAUS) funds to provide for the expansion and upgrade of the City's computerized traffic signal system; and WHEREAS , the City will receive $450 , 000 to provide for the installation of five new traffic signals, two pedestrian signals and the upgrade of ten existing traffic signals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the Federal Aid to Urban Systems (FAUS) Fund the sum of FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($450,000) to provide for traffic signal expansion and upgrades.
