OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE LARIMER COUNTY
URBAN AREA STREET STANDARDS BY REPEAL AND READOPTION THEROF
WHEREAS, City Council adopted the Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards (The
"Standards") on January 2, 2001,by adoption of Ordinance No. 186, 2000; and
WHEREAS,subsequent to the adoption thereof,the cities of Fort Collins and Loveland and
Larimer County have identified a number of necessary and desirable modifications and amendments
that should be made to Standards; and
WHEREAS, the proposed revisions have been recommended by the Planning and Zoning
Board and Transportation Board of the City and were received with no objection by the Affordable
Housing Board; and
WHEREAS, the proposed revisions have also been made known to the general public
through various media and have received favorable comments; and
WHEREAS,the City Council has determined that the proposed amendments to the Standards
should be adopted.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that effective October 1,2002,the Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards,adopted
January 2,2001,shall be repealed and readopted to read as shown on that certain document entitled
"Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards (Revision No. 1)" a copy of which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk.
Introduced and considered favorably on first reading and ordered published this 16th day of
July, A.D. 2002, and to be presented for final passage on the 20th day of August, A.D. 2002.
