HomeMy WebLinkAbout010 - 02/16/1993 - APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR SURVEY AND DOCUMENTATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 10, 1993 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED REVENUE FROM THE COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR THE SURVEY AND DOCUMENTATION OF HISTORICAL STRUCTURES WHEREAS, Article V, Section 14 of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City Council to appropriate by ordinance unanticipated revenue which is the result of rate or fee increases or new revenue sources at any time during the year in which such revenue is received; and WHEREAS, the City of Fort Collins has been awarded a grant in the amount of $4,000 from the Colorado Historical Society; and WHEREAS, the grant is to be used for nomination of two historic buildings in the Fort Collins community to the National Register of Historic Places and for a "How To" video on preparing local and national historic designations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS that, upon receipt, there is hereby appropriated from unanticipated revenue in the General Fund the sum of FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS ($4,000) , for expenditure for the following purposes: (1) nomination of two Fort Collins structures to the National Register of Historic Places, and (2) production of "How To" videotapes concerning historic designations and Fort Collins Historic Preservation Programs. INTRODUCED, considered favorable on First Reading, and ordered published this 2nd day of February, 1993, and to be presented for final passage on the 16th day of February, 1993.
