HomeMy WebLinkAbout087 - 05/19/1998 - ZONING LINCOLN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1ST ANNEXATION, WITHDRAWN ORDINANCE NO. 87, 1998 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS AND CLASSIFYING FOR ZONING PURPOSES THE PROPERTY INCLUDED IN THE LINCOLN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 ST ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS, COLORADO WHEREAS, Division 1.3 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Colli establishes the Zoning Map and Zone Districts of the City; and WHEREAS, Division 2.8 of the Land Use Code of the City of rt Collins establishes procedures and criteria for reviewing the zoning of land: and WHEREAS,in accordance with the foregoing,the Council h considered the zoning of the property which is the subject of this ordinance,and has determine at the said property should be zoned as hereafter provided. NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY TH OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS as follows: Section 1. That the Zoning Map of the C' of Fort Collins adopted pursuant to Section 1.3.2 of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort C ins be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended by including the property known as the mcoln Junior High School 1st Annexation to the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, in the Urban state (UE) Zone District, which property is more particularly described as situate in the Con of Larimer, State of Colorado, to wit: A tract of land situate in the Sout /2 of Section 3,Township 7 North,Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M., and in the rth '/2 of Section 10, Township 7 North, Range 69 West of the Sixth P.M., Co ty of Larimer, State of Colorado, which, considering the South line of the Sou east '/4 of said Section 3 as bearing N90°00'00"W and with bearings containe erein relative thereto,is contained within the boundary lines which begin at a poi on said South line which bears N90°00'00"W 804.00 feet from the Southeas orner of said Section 3, and run thence along the West line of the Hanna Seco Annexation, S00°32'00"E 30.00 feet to the South right-of-way line of Vine D ' e;thence along said South right-of-way line,N90°00'00"W 942.87 feet to a poi on the East line of the Northside Baptist Church Annexation; thence along sai ast line, N00°19'00"E 30.00 feet to the Northeast Corner of said Northsi Baptist Church Annexation;thence along the North line of said Northside Bapti Church Annexation,N90°00'00"W 257.00 feet to the Northwest Corner of sai orthside Baptist Church Annexation; thence along the West line of said rthside Baptist Church Annexation, S00'19'00"W 30.00 feet to a point on the outh right-of-way line of Vine Drive;thence N89°05'31"W 1449.66 feet to a point on the South line of the Southwest `/4 of said Section 3;thence along said South line, N89029'30"E 792.00 feet to the South 'A Corner of said Section 3; thence Withdrawn (to be resurrected at a later date) N87023'15"E 658.18 feet to a point on the North right-of-way line of Vine Drive; thence along said North right-of-way line of Vine Drive; thence along said North right-of-way line,N90°00'00"E 672.42 feet to a point on the West line of Granada Heights Annexation;thence along said West line. S00°06'30"E 30.00 feet to a poi on the South line of the Southeast '/4 of said Section 3;thence along said South ' e, N90°00'00"E 527.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.8909 acres ore or less. Section 2. That the Sign District Map adopted pursuant to Section .8.7(E) of the Land Use Code of the City of Fort Collins be, and the same hereby is, changed amended by showing that the above-described property is included in the Residential Neighbo ood Sign District. Section 3. That the Director of Engineering is hereby aut rized and directed to amend said Zoning Map in accordance with this Ordinance.
