OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED GRANT REVENUE
IN THE GENERAL FUND FOR THE FORT COLLINS POLICE
SERVICES, YOUTH CRIMES TEAM SUMMER PROJECTS
WHEREAS,the City has been awarded a grant in the amount of$1,250 from the Fort Collins
Community Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the grant will be used to help fund two Fort Collins Police Services, Youth
Crimes Team Summer Projects; and
WHEREAS,the City will administer the grant funds and be responsible for the distribution
of the grant funds; and
WHEREAS,Article V, Section 9, of the Charter of the City of Fort Collins permits the City
Council to make supplemental appropriations by ordinance at any time during the fiscal year,
provided that the total amount of such supplemental appropriations,in combination with all previous
appropriations for that fiscal year, do not exceed the then current estimate of actual and anticipated
revenues to be received during the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, City staff has determined that the appropriation of the unanticipated grant
revenue from the Fort Collins Community Foundation referenced herein will not cause total
appropriations to exceed the current estimate of actual and anticipated revenues for fiscal year 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that, upon receipt, there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from unanticipated grant
revenue in the General Fund the sum of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS
($1,250) for expenditure in the General Fund for the Fort Collins Police Services, Youth Crimes
Team summer projects.

July, A.D. 1997, and to be presented for final passage on the 15th day of July;A4.D. 1997.
