OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS
APPROPRIATING PRIOR YEAR RESERVES
IN THE GENERAL FUND
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 8, of the Charter of the City of Fort
Collins authorizes the City Council to provide by ordinance for payment of
any expense from prior year reserves at any time such reserves are
available; and
WHEREAS, the City received $3,500 from the Fort Collins Foundation in
1987 to provide improvements to the Gustav Swanson Nature Area; and
WHEREAS, Accounting has indicated that $3,304 of this money was not
spent as of December 31 , 1987 and is being held in reserve in the General
Fund for the Gustav Swanson Nature Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
COLLINS that there is hereby appropriated for expenditure from prior year
reserves in the General Fund the total sum of THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED
FOUR DOLLARS ($3,304) for improvements to the Gustav Swanson Nature Area.
Introduced, considered favorably on first reading, and ordered
published this 1st day of March, A.D. 1988, and to be presented for final
passage on the 15th day of March, A.D. 1988.
